Africa Productions exists because good communication deserves good engineering — whether it's a boardroom podcast, a Sunday service, or a national conference.
We're a Cape Town production and integration company, founded in 2020, with an unusual combination: we produce media — podcasts, video, photography, live broadcasts — and we design and install the permanent systems that media runs on.
That combination matters. Production companies that have never pulled cable end up designing rooms that are hard to operate, and installers who've never mixed a live broadcast miss what a production actually needs. We've spent years on both sides, and every project benefits from it.
A significant part of our work serves churches and ministries — a world where technology has to work every single week, operated by volunteers, on real budgets. It has made us disciplined, practical, and allergic to overselling. Our corporate clients get the benefit of that discipline; our church clients get the benefit of broadcast-grade standards.
Africa Productions is owner-led — and since March 2026, a full-time commitment. The person who quotes your project is the person who designs it, delivers it, and answers the phone afterwards. Larger productions are crewed to match, but responsibility never gets delegated. If that sounds small, it's the point: it's why the work holds up.
The story
Aron started out as a musician — on drums, in front of the crowd. Years of playing, running sound, and learning every corner of the technical craft moved him from the stage to behind the desk.
Africa Productions grew out of that: a love of the moment, and an obsession with the systems that make it land. It stays personal — shaped by faith, family, and the conviction that good communication deserves good engineering.
What we believe
Labelled cables, documented systems, rehearsed shows. The invisible work is the difference between a system that works on handover day and one that works for years.
We specify what the room needs, not what the margin wants. Sometimes the right answer is spending less — we'll be the ones to tell you.
A brilliant system that only we can run is a failed design. Everything we build is designed around the people — often volunteers — who will actually use it.
Our favourite clients are the ones we've served for years. We'd rather grow with twenty organisations than invoice a hundred once.
